2026 AI Tech Week in Tokyo

Startup Island TAIWAN will organize Taiwan AI Tech Week in Tokyo during SusHi Tech Tokyo, aiming to connect Taiwanese AI startups with Japanese corporations, investors, and industry partners.

The program combines exhibition participation with curated side events and networking activities, supporting startups in building meaningful connections and exploring collaboration opportunities in the Japanese market.

This open call selects Taiwanese AI startups with strong market potential. Selected teams will join the exhibition and exchange programs alongside Taiwan’s startup ecosystem partners. Booth allocation will be arranged based on overall curation and practical considerations and will be announced after selection.

• Integrated International Exposure：Showcasing the collective strength of Taiwan’s AI startups through a unified Taiwan Pavilion.

• Deepened Taiwan–Japan Industry Connections：Multiple networking and exchange events to foster interaction and matchmaking with Japanese companies and organizations.

• Meaningful Side Event：Beyond booth exhibitions, side events and curated exchange programs are designed to strengthen collaboration opportunities.

💡Participation Requirements

✔ AI startups legally established in Taiwan

✔ Ability to communicate in Japanese (primarily) and English (secondary)

✔ Selected teams must participate in all official program activities

✔ No application or exhibition fees are required; however, selected teams must cover their own travel and accommodation expenses

✔ Selected teams must submit Japanese and English company profiles and exhibition materials within the specified timeframe
